Apprentices
We pass on our knowledge to the next generation of talented individuals. Those choosing basic training in the ICT branch are starting out on a path with a great deal of future prospects. The tasks and opportunities in this profession are broad, and many IT experts only find out their specialty during the course of their career. IT specialists are increasingly in demand on the job market, and this trend shows no signs of slowing.
How long does the apprenticeship last?
The apprenticeships as IT specialist in application development and in system technology each last four years. We also offer support to apprentices who wish to pass their vocational school-leaving certificate during their vocational training.
First year – the basics
At Xovis, your four-year journey starts with a foundation year at an ICT Vocational Training Center. Here, you learn the basics, are gradually introduced to project-based and process-based assignments, and are able to gain initial experiences in the world of IT.
Years two to four – specialization
After your foundation year, you will then join us in Zollikofen and work in both our research and development department and in-house IT department. Here, you will be trained further by our experienced experts and have the opportunity of developing Xovis technology and further enhancing your skills.
