    From the establishment of Xovis Germany to winning the Swiss Export Award, 2024 was a great year for Xovis. Reviewing the highlights from the year past makes us excited for what 2025 has in store.

    1. In June, Xovis finalized an agreement to acquire HELLA Aglaia's People Sensing business, enhancing its portfolio in public transportation and other industries. The acquisition, which resulted in the establishment of Xovis Germany, strengthens the Xovis Group's market presence, especially in public transport, and aligns with its growth strategy in diverse sectors.     2. Xovis won the Switzerland Global Enterprise’s 2024 Export Award. The prestigious award was given in recognition for work supporting the company’s global expansion, including exports to more than 75 countries. Read more here.
    3. Xovis' AERO, a cloud-native passenger flow management service, won two Airport Technology Excellence Awards: one for Innovation in Passenger Tracking and another for Product Launches in the Digital Platform category. AERO helps airports improve operational efficiency and passenger experience, using AI-driven solutions to reduce wait times and resource costs. Read more here.
    4. Xovis implemented its Passenger Flow Management System (PFMS) at Vancouver International Airport (YVR) to enhance operational efficiency. The system provides real-time and historical data to improve decision-making and future planning. Known for its accuracy and light interference resistance, Xovis’ solution supports YVR’s proactive strategies, helping manage 24.9 million passengers. Read more here.
    5. The Xovis Group was at InnoTrans 2024 to discuss the role of its Automatic Passenger Counting tech in key trends in public transportation, including the integration of AI and digitalization for efficiency, automation enhancing connectivity, and buses playing a vital role in urban mobility.     6. Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL), the world’s busiest airport, enhanced its passenger experience with 18 dynamic information totems powered by Xovis' real-time data. Installed in pre-security areas, the totems provide wait time updates to reduce passenger stress.     7. Noida International Airport will use Xovis’ Passenger Flow Management System to efficiently handle increasing traveler numbers. Xovis' real-time data helps manage wait times, optimize staffing, and improve terminal performance. Read more here.
    8. Xovis showcased its AI-powered retail analytics solution at EuroCIS 2024 in Düsseldorf, highlighting real-time insights into customer behavior. The company’s retail pros were onsite to demo features like live data streams, gender estimation, group shopping detection, and seamless cloud integration. Read more here.
    9. Machine-learning-based Queue Detection was the highlight of Xovis’ appearance at the 2024 Passenger Terminal EXPO in Frankfurt. Xovis’ research lead Dr. Flurin Hänseler and company CPO Florian Eggenschwiler gave presentations on managing complex queuing environments. Read more here.
    10. In January 2024, Xovis showcased its AI-powered, sensor-based in-store analytics at the NRF Conference & Expo. The company demonstrated how its technology helps retailers optimize operational efficiency, reduce costs, and improve customer experiences. Read more here.
