The former CEO of Wema Systems AG in Switzerland and previously a member of the Noventic Group's Executive Board, Mr. Paris brings a global managerial vision cultivated over years of professional experience in Europe, Asia and the US. The executive has a proven track record of developing new business units, promoting the performance of multi-disciplinary teams and tapping into new growth markets.
Mr. Paris’ professional work is anchored by multiple advanced degrees, including an Executive MBA from the Insituto de Empresa in Madrid and a Master of Law degree (LL.M.) from the University of Vienna.
Andreas Fähndrich assumed the CEO role in 2019 after five years of working closely within the company’s airports division. ”We thank Andreas for his strong leadership during a period marked by a series of unprecedented challenges,” Xovis board member Simon Lussi said of the change. ”Rupert brings a unique perspective to the CEO role, one that we believe will serve Xovis well as it builds on a history of strategic successes across multiple industries.”
”I look forward to working closely with Xovis’ customers, partners and professionals as we continue to deliver sensors and sensor-based solutions already transforming the aviation, retail, transportation and building industries. I want to thank Capvis for the confidence in my ability to expand Xovis’ reputation as an innovative leader, and Andreas Fähndrich for his valuable support throughout the transition process,” Mr. Paris said.
