Xovis Now on Every (Populated) Continent

No matter how many continents you think there are, and opinions differ, one thing is certain: the Xovis solution is on them all…except Antarctica. Put another way, you will find Xovis’ sensor-based solutions everywhere you find humans flying…regularly…even with no affiliation to expedition teams…to or from a public-access terminal.

Our solution is operational at more than 110 airports and 550 airport terminal touchpoints. More than 20,000 of our AI-powered sensors deliver incredibly accurate, real-time data to operators of some of the world’s biggest and best airports.

We are confident that if passengers ever start queuing at Antarctica’s airports, we will be there, too.

    Passenger Satisfaction Taking Off

Xovis celebrated its arrival on the African continent last year, and subsequent milestones realized in recent months have been an opportunity to reflect on how we are responding to the evolving demands of a changing aviation industry. We intend to remain a market leader in delivering quality solutions that operators rely on for planning and responding to a wide range of in-terminal situations.

This year promises to be filled with exciting developments within the industry. Travel is returning and with it pressure on airport operators to deliver results to various stakeholders, and more airports worldwide are taking a closer look at what tech solutions make a real difference in improving operations and passenger satisfaction.

Level of Service (LoS) guidelines are starting to make a big impact on the industry, a trend that will continue to support highly accurate tools that deliver real results. The Entry-Exit System (EES), now scheduled to come into force in the Schengen area later this year, operators are already making plans for the change. We are also seeing much interest in airports embracing technology that keeps passengers informed of wait times.

    Long Haul Planning

Aviation industry organizations such as Airports Council International (ACI), International Civil Aviation Organizatio (ICAO), and the International Air Transport Association (IATA)—which manages more than 11,000 airport codes, including one in Antarctica (UGL)—have played a crucial role in lifting airport service standards. The transformation is something to behold and appears to be a trend that will extend long beyond 31 December 2023.

And our aspirations, too, extend deep into the future. Plans to expand the scope of our solutions in the near term reflect our commitment to strengthening already strong relationships with existing customers while pursuing new opportunities.

We may not see a Xovis sensor in Antarctica in 2023, but we will continue to expand on the five (or six or seven) continents where we are already thriving.
