Apprentices at Xovis are one of the team as from day one. They work closely with different departments, support experienced colleagues in their day-to-day work, and gain a broad understanding of how the business operates. Across all programs, apprentices build practical skills and lay a strong foundation for their future careers.
Xovis has a long tradition of nurturing the next generation of professionals through Switzerland’s well-established apprenticeship system—known in German Eidgenössisches Fähigkeitszeugnis (EFZ). We regularly welcome IT Apprentices specializing in application and platform development, as well as Commercial Apprentices who want to explore different areas of the company.
Apprentices work closely with various departments, support experienced professionals in daily operations, and develop a holistic understanding of business processes. In all programs, apprentices build practical knowledge and establish a strong foundation for professional growth. Explore the different training programs below:
Your four year apprenticeship at Xovis begins with a foundation year at the Bbc Vocational Training Center in Bern. During this first year, you will build a solid understanding of IT fundamentals, gradually take on project and process oriented tasks, and gain your first hands on experience in the world of information technology. After completing the foundation year, you will join us in Zollikofen, where you will work in both our Research & Development department and our in house IT team. This gives you the opportunity to apply your skills in practice, contribute to real projects, and gain insights into different areas of the business.
Your training starts directly at our Zollikofen headquarters, where you are introduced to the fundamentals of business administration. From the very beginning, you are involved in different departments, support daily operations, and develop insights into business processes. Over time, you apply your knowledge in practice and take on responsibility.
