Václav Havel Airport Prague Selects Xovis To Manage PAX Flow
PRG has experienced a significant increase in passenger numbers in recent years—a trend that is expected to continue in the upcoming years. The need for high levels of accuracy to manage rising passenger numbers across mission-critical processes—all while maintaining high service levels—led PRG operator Letiště Praha to the Xovis solution.
“Safety, convenience, comfort, and privacy are top priorities for our passengers, and we needed a solution that reflected those values. Xovis delivers on all those commitments and has the deep market experience and reputation for quality that PRG needed in a passenger flow management solution,” Martin Kučera, PRG Chief Operations & Security Officer said of the decision to use Xovis.
Xovis’ AI-powered sensors, the data capture source for the company’s solution, will initially be installed at the key touchpoints of passenger journey in PRG terminal such as security check or border control areas. Based on Xovis’ purpose-built technology, the company’s turnkey Passenger Flow Management System is currently operational in over 120 airports and 800 terminal touchpoints worldwide.
Faced with increasing pressure on personnel and infrastructure, airport operators count on Xovis’ system, which leverages cutting-edge machine learning technology, to better allocate resources, improve processing speeds, and shorten wait times for travelers.
“We’ve made significant strides in automating queue recognition, pushing the boundaries of precision in even the most dynamic terminal layouts. We are happy to bring this expertise to PRG, which can access Xovis’ powerful suite of analytics tools to optimize operations and enhance the passenger experience,” Christian Studer, Xovis CEO, said.
